About CBT/REBT
How Can CBT/REBT Help Me
Rational and Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) is a short- term therapy under the more well known Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT) umbrella. It focuses on resolving emotional and behavioral problems and can be of help if you are experiencing a variety of issues from personal to professional.
REBT is slightly different in approach than the more mainstream CBT: it is philosophical, humanistic and existentialist in nature and people who have been previously exposed to CBT seem to enjoy the differences in style.
It works through cognitive restructuring and
behavioural modification.
It can be effective for a variety of presenting issues
including but not limited to:
Anxiety
Social Anxiety
Depression
Low self esteem
Anger
Eating disorders
Phobias
Panic disorders
Burnout
Performance anxiety
Whether you are struggling with a specific personal or professional issue or things are simply getting too much in this climate, get in touch and we can explore whether CBT/REBT might be able to help you.
